It’s applicable to all kinds of equipment with steady and unsteady operation equipment, such as cooling water pumps, pure water pumps, dry pumps, exhaust fans, or handling machinery, mechanical arm, conveyor belts etc., in factories.
The Aurora 213MM2-R1 is a three-axis RS485 smart vibration and temperature sensor with a mid-to-high frequency bandwidth response. It features a mid-to-high frequency vibration accelerometer, a high-speed computing unit, and an RS485 data transmission module. The sensor can extract the health status features of mechanical equipment in real-time, evaluate its health condition, and upload the equipment's health information to various upper-level data collection systems through RS485-to-wired or wireless gateways.
The Aurora 213MM2-R1 smart vibration and temperature sensor is capable of performing time-domain analysis, FFT spectrum analysis, and order tracking. It calculates the overall vibration energy performance as well as the vibration energy characteristics of various component failure modes. You can customize acceptable energy levels for each failure mode, and when the energy characteristic of any mode exceeds the set threshold, the 213MM2-R1 will automatically issue an alert.
With built-in software triggering, hardware triggering, time-domain signal filtering, and speed identification capabilities, the 213MM2-R1 smart vibration sensor automatically identifies the corresponding frequency band of component vibrations and recalculates energy characteristics in real time when the equipment's operating speed changes. This prevents misjudgments and ensures reliable diagnostics for variable-speed equipment and stop-and-go machinery.
The analysis results are transmitted via the Modbus protocol to various PLCs or RS485-to-wired or wireless gateways, then uploaded to in-plant EDC/SCADA systems or offsite cloud systems. This allows you to monitor equipment operation status remotely and schedule maintenance proactively.
The Aurora 213MM2-R1 smart vibration sensor not only comes with a built-in ISO-10816 alarm standard but also includes several failure models for rotating machinery, allowing it to provide diagnostic benefits from the very first day of deployment without requiring long periods of data collection and learning. After deployment, you can still download new models to the 213MM2-R1 smart vibration sensor via the Aurora data and device management software, further enhancing the robustness of the Aurora diagnostic system.
